Pamela was raised in Midland, TX and spent most of her free time riding horses, competing in eventing, including dressage, stadium jumping, and cross country. She attended Trinity School for many years and graduated from Midland High School in 2005. She earned a B.S. in Animal Science from Texas A&M University in 2009. She was then inspired by the “Teach for America” model to earn her alternative teaching certificate and went on to teach high school math for four years and was awarded Central Texas Teacher of the Month in 2012. After starting her family, she went back to school to earn her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Texas Tech Health Science Center Physician Assistant Program. She was inspired to work in orthopedics by her father, Dr. Floyd, and is excited to follow in his footsteps. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and outdoor adventures.
