José Andrés is originally from Monterrey, México. He grew up in Brownsville, Texas and has strong ties to South Texas. He graduated high school as an Emergency Medical Technician and worked in Emergency Medical Services while completing his Bachelor of Science in Public Health at Texas A&M University Health Science Center. José Andrés then completed his Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Hardin-Simmons University. He is passionate about improving musculoskeletal outcomes through evidence-based care. He is enthusiastic to use his fluency in Spanish to extend his services to Spanish-speaking patients. In his spare time, José Andrés likes to stay active through weight lifting, half-marathon/marathon training, and hiking. He also enjoys several sports including soccer, martial arts, and Formula 1.
