Mike Miller, MD

-Board Eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon

Returning to his West Texas roots, Dr. Miller is excited to come home to West Texas and join Ortho Midland in caring for the community he grew up in. Born and raised in Odessa, Dr. Miller understands the values, work ethic, and strong sense of community that make West Texas special.

After graduating from Permian High School, Dr. Miller attended Texas Tech University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology and a minor in chemistry. He went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio/Long School of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Prisma Health-Upstate in Greenville, South Carolina, followed by advanced fellowship training in adult reconstruction at the Southern Joint Replacement Institute in Nashville, Tennessee. During fellowship, he received specialized training in hip and knee replacement, including complex primary and revision joint replacement, robotic-assisted total knee replacement, and direct anterior total hip replacement. He also enjoys caring for patients with a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, fractures, and general orthopedic problems.

During his free time, Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, watching sporting events, staying active, and traveling. He is honored to have the opportunity to care for the people of the region he has always called home.
